Remember that Ska came before Raggae. and while Raggae is very good, Ska is where the roots are, and many people get them confused. I'm not terribly familiar with a lot of Raggae, but I know some:

Peter Tosh
Dennis Brown
Yellowman
Steel Pulse

Just to name a few, give me some more time and I can dig up some other good ones.
